Cowgirl Golf In Fifth Place At Roadrunner Invitational

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - Oklahoma State's Cowgirl Golf team is in fifth place after the first round of the Roadrunner Invitational here Monday afternoon, nine strokes behind Washington, which is in first place with a 294 first-round score.
A pair of freshman are leading the Cowgirls, with Christi Cano and Linda Wessberg each shooting identical two-over-par 74s during the first round. Junior Maria Boden is tied for 25th with a 76, while sophomore Emma Zackrisson (tied for 50th with a 79) and senior Natasha Rowe (tied for 56th with an 80) round out the OSU scores.
The tournament will continue on Tuesday with another round of 18 holes, and conclude on Wednesday with a final round of 18.
