Men's Tennis Competes At ITA Regional Championship

WICHITA, Kan. - The OSU men's tennis team is currently competing at the ITA Regional Championship being hosted by Wichita State University this weekend.
In round one of singles qualifying, Matt Streeter dropped a 6-4, 6-1 decision to Evansville's Leandro Festino. In the main draw, three of the Pokes pushed through to the second round.
Matt Prentice went on to defeat Drake's Aaron Endress in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4 to move on to the third round. Prentice teamed with Chris Bates to advance to the second round of doubles action as well. In third round play, Prentice retired against Illinois State's Greg Tranquada.
The tournament resumes on Sunday and will wrap up on Monday.
