Women's Golf Squad Dominating In Top Spot At Shootout

FRANKLIN, Ind. - Oklahoma State's Cowgirl golf team holds a commanding 22-stroke lead after two rounds of the Shootout at the Legends Golf Tournament here late Monday night. OSU shot a 293-288--581, compared to a 603 for second-place Northwestern.
The Cowgirls are dominating the individual leaderboard as well, with four of the top six spots occupied by OSU golfers. Junior All-American Maria Boden leads the tournament with a one-under-par 143, three strokes ahead of Cowgirl freshman Christi Cano (146). Freshman Linda Wessberg and senior Natasha Rowe are tied with two other golfers for third place at 147.
Freshman JoAnn Heller is tied for 13th with a 151, while Emma Zackrisson, playing as an individual, is tied for 51st with a 159.
The tournament will conclude on Tuesday with a final round of 18 holes.
