2015-16: Compiled an overall record of 29-9 and a 9-4 mark in duals … 2016 All-American, finishing fourth at 149 pounds … Picked up three wins over top-10 opponents at NCAAs … Took out sixth-seeded and 2014 NCAA champion Jason Tsirtsis in the second round, 3-2 … Went on to defeat No. 3 Lavion Mayes of Missouri in the quarterfinals … Was seeded No. 11 at 149 pounds … Earned his third-straight Big 12 title with a major decision over OU’s Davion Jeffries in the finals … Recorded six pins in the last eight matches leading up to NCAAs … Defeated North Carolina’s fifth-ranked Evan Henderson on Feb. 19 to record his fourth-straight victory by fall … Recorded 19 bonus point wins this season, including 10 falls … Won six consecutive dual matches, two of which came against top-20 opponents … Won both the OCU Open and Oklahoma Open, recording six bonus-point wins in the process … Three-time NCAA qualifier.
