2024 Outdoors
Competed in all three jumps during the outdoor season… Opened the outdoor season at the Clyde Hart Classic in the Long and Triple Jumps… Placed second overall at the Arkansas Spring Invitational in the High Jump with a mark of 1.76 meters… At the Big 12 Outdoor Championships, Hakanen earned All-Big 12 honors with a third-place mark of 1.80 meters… Qualified for the NCAA West Prelims in the High Jump, where she finished 19th overall at 1.76 meters.

2024 Indoors
Opened her indoor campaign with a meet victory in the High Jump, clearing a bar of 1.78 meters… Followed up that performance by breaking her own indoor school record in the High Jump with a leap of 1.80 Meters at the DeLoss Dodds Invitational in February… At the Big 12 Indoor Championships three weeks later, Hakanen placed sixth overall with a mark of 1.72 meters, earning All-Big 12 honors.

2023 Outdoors
Competed at six meets during the outdoor campaign… After competing at the Jim Click Shootout in Arizona, Hakanen ran in a jumper’s 4x100 Meter Relay at the Sooner Invitational… Wrapped up her regular season with a third and first-place finish at the John Jacobs Invitational and Corky/Crofoot Shootout in the Long Jump and High Jump, respectively. Qualified for the NCAA West Prelims, placing 19th in the High Jump, clearing 1.77 meters.

2023 Indoors
Competed at five meets during the indoor season… Kicked off her campaign with a second-place finish in the Triple Jump at the Arkansas Invitational… Scored a vital six points in the High Jump at the Big 12 Indoor Championships to help the Cowgirls wrap up their first conference track & field title.

2022 Outdoors
Returned from an injury that kept her out during the indoor season, competing in three separate jumps... Made her 2022 debut at the Texas Relays, where she cleared 1.72 meters in the High Jump... Her Long Jump debut came a week later at the Baylor Invitational, jumping 5.47 meters... Picked up her first win of the season at the John Jacobs Invitational, clearing a season-best 1.73 meters in the High Jump... Earned her second consecutive outdoor All-Big 12 honor as she once again cleared 1.72 meters in the High Jump.

2021 Outdoors
Made her outdoor track and field collegiate debut in 2021… set a new lifetime best in the long jump in her first outdoor meet as a Cowgirl with a 6.08m/19-11.5 mark that placed her third in the field at the TCU Invitational and ranks her performance tied-second all-time in program history… went on to earn a pair of wins in the triple jump at the Baylor Invitational and the long jump at the North Texas Classic in back-to-back weeks… turned in a runner-up finish in the high jump with a 1.75m/5-8.75 clearance at the Big 12 Championships… punched her ticket to the NCAA Championships high jump final with a career best 1.82m/5-11.5 height, which ranks second in program history.

2021 Indoors
Competed in all three road trips to Lubbock, Texas during the 2021 season… recorded five top-ten performances on the year: three in the triple jump and two in the high jump… set a new career best in the triple jump thanks to a 13.18m/43-3 leap that secured her the fourth-place finish… earned a pair of All-Big 12 honors at the Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championships with a runner-up finish in the high jump and an eighth-place performance in the triple jump.

Competed in both the long jump and triple jump… took first place at the Arkansas Invitational in the triple jump with a 12.63m… best finish in the long jump was second at the Bob Timmons Challenge at 5.57m… finished sixth in the triple jump at the Big 12 Championships with a 12.78m/41-11.25, which was the third-best mark in school history.
