2014-15: Made seven appearances in relief … Posted a 9.00 ERA in 9.1 innings of work … Made her season debut against Arkansas Pine-Bluff on March 15, striking out two in a quick 1-2-3 inning … Also had scoreless outings against Texas Tech (April 18), North Texas (April 29) and Texas (May 2) … Earned the Cowgirls’ only save of the season against North Texas on April 29, pitching the final out of a 6-4 victory … Made three plate appearances and delivered a single against Kansas on April 3.
2013-14: Played the role of the Cowgirls' primary reliever, making 13 appearances out of the pen ... Finished with 9 strikeouts and 4.40 ERA ... Delivered a sacrifice fly in her only at bat.
High School: A four-year starter at pitcher, Peyton led her team to the 2011 Class B State Championship ... Also led her team to the championship game in 2012 ... Finished her career with a 109-18 record in the circle, striking out 1,100 ... Also had 59 career home runs ... Named All-State as a pitcher ... Played summer ball for the Tulsa Elite under coach Jeff Filali and for the Oklahoma Athletics under Darryl Williams and Bryan Madden ... Also a four-year starter for the basketball team and was named All-State.
Personal: Born July 17, 1994, Peyton is the daughter of Steven and Yancy Walker. She has an older brother, Colby, and a younger sister, Addison. Peyton is majoring in social studies at Oklahoma State.
