2015 Indoors: Capped off another stellar year with a seventh place finish at the NCAA Championships in the weight throw... Won his third consecutive weight throw title at the Big 12 Championships... Competed in three events and took first place in five of them.
2014 Outdoors: Placed second in the hammer throw at the NCAA Outdoor Championships (72.40m/237-6) after leading for nearly the entire competition, earning his third-straight All-American honor in the event ... Broke the Big 12 meet and conference records with a personal-best and school-record launch of 74.38m/244-0 at the Big 12 Championships, where all five of his marks would have won the title ... Won the hammer at the NCAA West Regional for the second-straight year, with a launch of 71.36m/234-1 .. Threw the hammer 74.37m/244-0 at the KSU Wildcat Open, which was an OSU and Big 12 record until he one-upped it at the conference meet.
2014 Indoors: Nick Miller’s yearly assault on his own school records continued in 2014 ... Started his season with a bang, breaking his own school record on his first throw of the season at the KSU Wildcat Invite, a 21.94m/71-11.75 launch ... He one-upped that mark at the
Tyson Invite, with a 21.99m/72-1.75 toss ... However, Miller saved his best for last at the NCAA Championships, where he shattered his school record with a throw of 23.07m/75-8.25, good enough for second place ... Won every meet in which he competed save two, in which he took second.
2013 Outdoors: Earned second-team All-America honors when he finished ninth in the hammer at the NCAA Outdoor Championships ... Won his second-straight Big 12 hammer throw title, throwing a stadium record 69.22m/227-01 in Waco ... Broke his own hammer throw school record four different times ... First, at the Tulsa Duels, where he threw an unattached 69.76m/228-10.5, which would have been tops in the NCAA ... Next, he threw an NCAA-best 70.20m/230-04 at the Mt. SAC Relays ... On May 11, at the Ward Haylett Invite, he broke his record again, with a 70.57m/231-06 ... At the NCAA West Preliminary Round, he launched a 71.60m/234-11, reclaiming the NCAA’s No. 1 spot, and breaking his own record by a meter ... Broke the 70-meter barrier five times--only one other athlete did it once.
2013 Indoors: Broke through on the national stage during the 2013 indoor season, placing fourth in the weight throw at the NCAA Championships with a school-record mark of 21.48m/70-5.75 ... Big 12 champion in the weight throw with a toss of 20.63m/67-8.25 at the conference meet ... Notched four marks of 20 meters or better during the season.
2012 Outdoors: Represented his native Great Britain at the IAAF Junior World Championships in Barcelona, but did not advance past the semifinal round in the hammer throw ... Established a new school record when he recorded a toss of 67.56 meters/221-08 at the Hammerama meet in Scotland ... Earned second-team All-America honors with a 14th-place finish in the hammer throw at the NCAA Championships ... Big 12 champion as a true freshman ... His 67.06m/220-00 heave at the John McDonnell Invitational ranked him seventh nationally and second in the Midwest Region during the regular season ... Not only did he win the Big 12 championship with his 66.00m/216-06 toss, but he did it in dominating fashion with four of his six attempts going farther than the top throw of the second place finisher ... By winning the Big 12 championship, he became the first Cowboy since 1901 to win a conference title in the hammer throw.
2012 Indoors: Earned All-Big 12 recognition with a second-place finish in the weight throw at the conference meet after recording a season-best 19.01m/62-04.50 effort ... Finished in first place at the JD Martin Invitational with a throw of 18.47m/60-07.25 ... Placed second in the weight throw at the Razorback Invitational with a 17.75m/58-03.00 ... Never finished below fifth in the weight throw all season, as he placed fourth at the KSU All Comers and fifth at the KSU Invitational.
