2017 Outdoors: Raced three times for OSU... Took second at the Arkansas Twilight in the 800 meters... Ran for the Cowboys in the 800 meters at the Big 12 Championships.
2017 Indoors: Began his season with a victory at the Kansas State Winter Invitational in the 600 yards... Took second in the 800 meters at the Razorback Invitational... Earned two All-Big 12 honors at the Big 12 Championships, including a championship in the distance medley relay... Was a member of the distance medley relay team that took sixth at the National Championships.

2016 Indoors: In his first season with the Cowboys, he helped the team win its second Big 12 Indoor title in three seasons by running on the 4X400-meter relay team... Ran four times for OSU during the regular season.
2015 Outdoors: (At Minnesota) Won the 800 meter title at the Baldy Castillo Invitational in 1:50.35.
2015 Indoors: (At Minnesota) Scored for the Golden Gophers at the B1G Championships when he took sixth in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:50.70... Helped the Minnesota distance medley relay team and 4X400-meter relay teams to third place finishes at the B1G Championships.
2014 Outdoors: (At Minnesota) Ran a 1:51.39 at the Big Ten Championships in the 800-meter run... Finished third at the Musco Twilight in the 800-meter run and ran a 1:50.48... Competed at the UW La Cross Eagle Open where he finished the 400-meter dash in 48.65 to finish sixth.
2014 Indoors: (At Minnesota) Finished 12th in the 600-meter run at the Big Ten Championships in 1:18.70...Won the 600-meter run unattached at the Northwest Open in 1:20.65.
High School: Attended Brookfield East High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin... Was named Team MVP four times while also winning four state titles... Set the school record in 800-meter run and was a member on the record-setting 4X400-and 4X800-meter relay teams.
Personal: Born Dec. 5, 1994 to Kim Sowdent and Jeff Johnson... Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin... Transferred to Oklahoma State from the University of Minnesota.
