Career Summary (2022-24):
Walk-on appeared in 10 games as a true freshman after late season injuries thinned the team’s point guard depth… Helped OSU reach the 20-win mark and the 2023 NIT quarterfinals… Redshirted his sophomore year… Entered the transfer portal in the Spring of 2024 and landed a scholarship at Coastal Carolina.
2023-24 (Sophomore):
Redshirted the season but played an important part in the team’s preparation, serving as scout team point guard.
2022-23 (Freshman):
Appeared in 10 games, including all three wins over Oklahoma, for a total of 20 minutes… Scored his first collegiate points on a layup at West Virginia (Feb. 20) and grabbed three rebounds… Handed out two assists at TCU (Feb. 18)… Found Moussa Cisse for a layup and his first career assist in the first half of the Feb. 8 win over Texas Tech.
High School:
Four-year letterwinner at Coppell High, just north of Dallas-Fort Worth… Underrecruited prospect, due in part to a knee injury suffered in March of his junior year… Made a successful return as a senior, averaging 15.2 points on his way to all-region honors… Made an 80-foot buzzer beater in a 66-63 win over Denton Guyer that landed at No. 1 on Sports Center’s top-10 plays… Earned all-district status in all four years (the first two at LD Bell High School) and was part of two district championship teams… At Coppell, played with Anthony Black, the No. 6 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft… Coached by Clint Schnell… Played AAU ball for coach Shawn Ward – a close friend of OSU head coach Mike Boynton.
