Kris Quintana is in his second season as OSU's video coordinator. He plays an instrumental role in both scouting and player development by breaking down film of upcoming opponents as well as cutting and evaluating daily practice clips to help Cowboy student-athletes enhance their own performance.
"I am excited to add Kris to our staff," head coach Mike Boynton said in an August, 2022Â press release announcing Quintana's hiring. "He is talented, intelligent and highly driven. I've been fortunate to be able to see Kris work firsthand and truly believe his skills and passion will translate seamlessly into our program."
Prior to Stillwater, Quintana spent a year as video coordinator and player development coach for the G-League's Greensboro Swarm.
He's also been active with USA Basketball since 2020 as a video coordinator on various national team tours. He and Boynton worked together in the summer of 2023 with the United State's FIBA U19 World Cup squad and teamed up for a gold medal in 2022 at the FIBA U18 Americas.
Prior to his work with the Swarm, Quintana spent three years with the G-League's Westchester Knicks -- one as the video coordinator and two as a basketball operations assistant -- where he had a hand in the development of Trey Burke, Luke Kornet, RJ Barrett and countless others.
The Staten Island native was a player development intern at IMPACT Basketball in 2017 and served as a basketball operations assistant and video coordinator of the New York Liberty in 2018.
Quintana was an intern for three years with the Brooklyn Nets while attending school at St. John's University. He completed his bachelor's degree in sport management in 2016.
