Will Baum joined the Oklahoma State sports medicine staff in the spring of 2021 and assists in the healthcare of the football program.
Will came from Missouri S&T, an NCAA Division II school in Rolla, Mo., where he spent six years overseeing the healthcare of the football and golf programs while also overseeing the student paraprofessional program. In the spring of 2019, Will was promoted to head athletic trainer. He supervised a staff of five in providing care for an athletic department that included 15 sports.
From 2012-15, Will worked at Missouri State as an athletic training intern with the football and golf programs while also working as a team leader for the Gatorade Summer Sports Camps. He served as a preceptor to the athletic training education department, where he received the Preceptor of the Year award in 2015. Will received his master’s degree in athletic training from the University of Arkansas in 2012, after receiving his bachelor’s degrees in exercise science from Baker University in 2010.
A native of St. Louis, Mo., Will is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and licensed by the State of Oklahoma Board of Medical License & Supervision. He is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) and Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES). He is certified in Masters Dry Needling Level 1. Will has taken three Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) courses.
Will lives in Stillwater with his wife, Kaleena, his son, Owen, and their two dogs, Finn and Waylon.
