High School: Played for coach Matthew Nally at Melissa … Helped the Cardinals to four-consecutive 10-plus win seasons and two district 2-5A titles … Played multiple positions for Melissa, spending the most time at linebacker and tight end … Twice named 5A all-state … Recorded eight tackles and two pass break-ups to go with seven receptions for 140 yards and three touchdowns in opening-round win of 2023 playoffs … Totaled 42 tackles and three interceptions during junior season … The No. 82 linebacker in the country, according to ESPN … Also ranked as the No. 175 player from Texas ...
