2023-24 (Sophomore):
Explosive guard moved into the starting lineup in his second season… Led the team in rebounds (5.5) and steals (34) and was often tasked with shutting down the opposing team’s top scoring option… Appeared in all 32 games with 28 starts and averaged 7.5 points and 2.2 assists in 28.2 minutes… Grabbed double-digit rebounds on six occasions and tallied four double-doubles… Shot 47.5% from the field, including 53.2% inside the arc, with 20 dunks… Finished the year strong, averaging 10.2 points in February and March… Scored a career-high 21 points in an overtime thriller against Oklahoma (Feb. 24)… Flirted with a triple-double in the win at Cincinnati (Feb. 21) with 12 points, eight rebounds and a career-best eight assists… Helped lead the Pokes past K-State (Feb. 3) with a 17-point, 10-rebound effort… Put up 15 points in an upset of 19th-ranked BYU (Feb. 17)… Matched his personal-best with 11 rebounds against Notre Dame (Nov. 17).

Appeared in 34 games off the bench and posted averages of 3.2 points and 2.5 rebounds in 13.1 minutes and totaled 32 assists and 12 steals… Made 9-of-44 threes (.205) but converted more than three-quarters of his free throw attempts (19-of-25, .760)… Played some of his best basketball down the stretch… Scored a season-high 12 points at Baylor (Feb. 27)… )… In the three NIT games, averaged 8.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 23.6 minutes, helped by his first career double-double in the opener against Youngstown State when he finished with 11 points and a personal-best 11 rebounds… Set another season-high with four assists in the second-round win over Eastern Washington (Mar. 19)… Logged the first of his four double-figure scoring games against Prairie View (Nov. 27) with 11 points on 3-of-3 shooting… Chipped in 10 points in a home win over Texas Tech (Feb. 8).
