2018: Made 18 appearances, five as a starter … recorded first save of career with 2.2 scoreless innings against Missouri State (3/7) in which he struck out four … also had four strikeouts and allowed just one run in a season-high six innings of work in a start vs. Dallas Baptist (3/13) … posted first win of season with five shutout innings in relief vs. TCU (3/3) … racked up seven strikeouts against the Horned Frogs … also tallied a win vs. West Virginia (4/13) with 4.1 scoreless frames.
2017: Made 12 appearances, two of those as a starter ... worked 1.1 scoreless innings in collegiate debut at Grand Canyon (2/20) and struck out two ... struck out five in two innings vs. South Dakota State (3/12) ... earned win in first-career start against Northwestern State (3/19) in an effort that saw him rack up nine strikeouts in four innings ... struck out three in 1.2 innings in NCAA Regional contest vs. Oral Roberts (6/3).
HIGH SCHOOL: Named District 22-6A MVP as a senior … went 7-1 with a 0.48 ERA and racked up 101 strikeouts in 57 innings … 2016 Rawlings-Perfect Game Texas Region Honorable Mention … also an all-district performer in football ... also recruited by West Virginia, Rice, Houston, Texas State, Louisiana-Lafayette, Kansas State and Wichita State.
