2016 Outdoors: Advanced to the West Preliminary Rounds in the 5,000-meter run with a personal best 13:54.37 from his win at the Stanford Twilight... Won the Big 12 title in the 1,500-meter run with a personal best 3:43.00... Took 6th in the 5,000-meter run at the Big 12 Championships for his fifth track and field all-conference honor.Â
2016 Indoors: Won his first Big 12 title for the Cowboys in the epic 3,000-meter final that lifted OSU to its second conference indoor title in three years... Picked up a personal best in the mile, with a time of 4:04.75... Finished seventh in the 5,000-meter run at the conference championships.
2015 Cross Country: Earned all-conference honors at the Big 12 Championships with a sixth-place finish... Took 52nd at the NCAA Championships and 16th at the Midwest Regional.
2015 Outdoors: His personal best 14:06.35 in the 5,000-meter run qualified him for the NCAA West Regional... Set a personal best 3:47.01 in the 1,500-meter run at the Arkansas Spring Invitaional... Finished 16th in the 5,000-meter run at the Big 12 Championships.
2015 Indoors: Secured a point for the Cowboys by finished eighth in the 5,000-meter final at the Big 12 Championships... Recorded the ninth-best 3,000-meter run time in school history with a 7:56.36 at the Husky Classic. Ran in three regular season events for OSU.
2014 Cross Country: Had the highest finish of any returning Cowboy at the NCAA Championships where his 30:40.1 got him 16th place and All-America honors... Â Finished ninth at the Big 12 Championships in 24:28.0... Debuted at the Cowboy Jamboree where he finished third in 24:52.73.
2014 Outdoors: Suited up twice for the Cowboys, most notably at the Big 12 Championships, where he ran the 5,000 meters in 15:33.20, good enough for 19th.
2014 Indoors: Did not compete.
2013 Cross Country: Suited up four times for the Cowboys, including a 62nd-place finish at the NCAA Championships, where he ran a 31:00.2 ... All-Region performer, with a ninth-place finish at the Midwest Regional (30:36.9) ... Took 16th at the Big 12 Championships, with a time of 23:41.8, and finished 23rd at the Pre National Invitational, running a 23:53.60 ... Earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors.

2012 Cross Country: Â Junior national champion at the U.S. Cross Country Championships in Forest Park, Ill., after running the 8,000-meter race in 24:47 - a mark that was four seconds faster than the runner-up ... Earned a spot on the U.S. Junior National Cross Country Team with his performance at that meet ... Just missed out on earning All-Big 12 and All-Region honors as a true freshman, placing 26th at the conference meet in 24:43.2 (the top 25 are recognized as All-Big 12) and 28th at the NCAA Midwest Regional in 31:06.22 (the top 25 are recognized as All-Region) ... Earned a top-10 finish at the Chile Pepper Festival, taking 10th in 30:38.6.
High School: Won the Texas state championship in the 1,600 meters in 2011 and 2012, the 3,200 meters in 2012 and cross country in 2011 ... Earned cross country All-America honors twice and was named the 2011 Gatorade Runner of the Year for cross country in 2011 ...
