In The Rankings
Oklahoma State is ranked No. 15 in the GoRout/NFCA Coaches Poll and No. 15 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Top 25. In the Ratings Percentage Index (RPI), the Cowgirls are No. 15. Nebraska is ranked as the unanimous No. 1 team in college softball.
          Â
Oklahoma State from a Distance
Following a dominant display in the NCAA Regional round, the Oklahoma State softball team enters NCAA Super Regionals with the belief that they have what it takes to reach the program's 17th Women's College World Series. OSU avenged a pair of opening-weekend losses to Stanford en route to the largest run differential in NCAA Regionals in program history (+27). The Cowgirls played the 18th-toughest schedule in the nation and hold 12 wins over teams ranked in the Top 25 of the RPI, boasting victories over seven of the remaining 16 teams in the NCAA Tournament (including Nebraska).
The Pokes are led by Big 12 Pitcher of the Year and 2026 first team All-American Ruby Meylan, who is piecing together one of the greatest single-season pitching performances in program history. The three-time All-American ranks inside the top 15 nationally in wins (29, third), innings pitched (238.0, third), shutouts (nine, fourth), complete games (22, fifth) and strikeouts (216, 12th). Offensively, first team All-Big 12 performer Rosie Davis has been the complete package this season with over 50 runs scored and nearly 50 RBIs to go with double-digit totals in doubles and home runs. Senior Amanda Hasler is one of six players in OSU history with at least 60 RBIs in a single season and has 14 long balls on the year. Lexi McDonald, Tia Warsop and Claire Timm all rank among the team leaders in batting average. All-Big 12 Freshman team performers Aubrey Jones and Jayelle Austin have been standouts, along with the All-Big 12 defensive team catcher, Audrey Schneidmiller, who is the only catcher in the Big 12 with a perfect fielding percentage this season.
