Ellie Bushnell and Marta Silchenko earn All-Big 12 selections
May 01, 2026 | Cowgirl Golf
STILLWATER – The Big 12 league office announced its annual awards on Friday, with Oklahoma State golfers Marta Silchenko and Ellie Bushnell each receiving all-conference honors.
Silchenko was named First Team All-Big 12, while Bushnell made the Second Team.
This marks the first All-Big 12 selection of each golfer's career and comes less than two weeks after both were named to the All-Big 12 Tournament Team.
This season, Silchenko has climbed to No. 28 in the NCAA Division I Individual Rankings and No. 61 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings, both career-highs. Her outstanding campaign has yielded the first individual win of her career as well as top-10 finishes in each of her last five events—and seven overall through nine events.
Silchenko, a junior from Riga, Latvia, leads Oklahoma State in stroke average (71.35), average scoring vs. par (+0.1), rounds in the 60s (10), rounds at par-or-better (14) and top-10 finishes (7). All are already career-highs for the third-year Cowgirl.
Successful both on the course and in the classroom, Silchenko was also named Big 12 Co-Scholar Athlete of the Year on Friday.
Bushnell, a junior from Granite Bay, California, has produced a breakout third-year campaign in her own right. This season, Bushnell has played to a career-best 73.06 stroke average, carded a career-high and team-leading 109 birdies, and recorded more top-10 finishes (4) than in her previous two seasons combined. Bushnell is the lone Cowgirl to play in all 11 of the team's tournaments this season.
The 2025-26 season also saw each golfer reach several significant career milestones, as both surpassed 250 birdies, 15 rounds in the 60s, and 35 rounds at par-or-better. Bushnell currently sits just 8 birdies away from crossing the 300 mark for her career and is 3 eagles away from matching Pernilla Lindberg's Oklahoma State record of 11.
This marks the sixth consecutive season that an Oklahoma State golfer has earned an All-Big 12 selection, good for the longest active streak in the conference. The Cowgirls have now combined for 65 All-Big 12 awards (57 First Team, 8 Second Team) in the program's storied history, more than double the next-closest team (Baylor, 29 total).
Silchenko, Bushnell and the Cowgirls return to action on May 11 for the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, with a trip to the National Championship on the line.
25 conference titles. 31 NCAA Championship appearances. 44 All-Americans. For the latest news and updates on Oklahoma State Women's Golf, visit okstate.com or follow @CowgirlGolf on Instagram/Facebook and @OSUCowgirlGolf on X.
