Cowboys Travel To Texas For Maridoe Collegiate

CARROLLTON, Texas – Oklahoma State's men's golf team will be back in action this week when it travels to the Lone Star State to participate in the Maridoe Collegiate at Maridoe Golf Club.
The 54-hole event will consist of 36 holes on Monday and conclude with Tuesday's round. OSU will be one of 13 teams in action at the par-72, 7,569-yard layout.
Head coach Alan Bratton's lineup will be comprised of the junior quartet of Preston Stout, Ethan Fang, Eric Lee and Gaven Lane as well as sophomore Filip Falhberg-Johnsson. Redshirt freshman Collin Bond will compete individually.
OSU finished fifth in its last outing at the Pauma Valley Invitational and has been top five in six of its eight events thus far on the season.
The Cowboys wrapped up the Big 12 Fall Series in October of 2020 with a three-shot victory at the Maridoe Collegiate. Current PGA Tour standout Austin Eckroat was the runner-up at the event with a 216 total.
Last year, OSU was the event's runner-up with Stout and Lane each earning top-five finishes, placing third and fifth, respectively.
