Quick Summary:

A hot shooting performance, in addition to Cincinnati usual stout defense, made for a long afternoon for Oklahoma State, which played for the first time since losing starting center Parsa Fallah to a season-ending knee injury.
Day Day Thomas scored 26 points and accounted for seven of the Bearcats' 14 three-pointers.
Moustapha Thiam added 24 points and 15 rebounds for UC, which won the rebounding battle, 43-32, and outscored the Cowboys 24-7 on second-chances.
Baba Miller (11 points) tallied eight of the Bearcats' 24 assists against just eight turnovers.
UC made six of its first eight threes to open up a 28-14 lead near the midway point of the first half.
Thiam scored 17 of his points in the first half, capped by a last-second dunk that sent the hosts in the locker room with a 51-33 advantage.
The Cowboys missed 11 of their first 14 shots to start the second half as the margin grew to 70-40 with 12:29 to go.
Vyctorius Miller led a group of four OSU players in double-figures with 15 points, Benjamin Ahmed grabbed eight rebounds and Daniel Guetta tallied four assists.

Series Info:

This was the only scheduled meeting between the teams during the 2025-26 regular season.
The loss narrows OSU's all-time series lead over the Bearcats to 5-4 (2-2 since UC's move to the Big 12).
The Cowboys are now 1-3 against the Bearcats in Cincinnati (1-1 since Fifth Third Arena's 2018 renovation).

Team Notes:

The Cowboys fall to 1-7 in true road games. The lone victory came on Jan. 31 at Utah.
OSU has scored at least 81 points in all 17 wins but is 0-11 when putting up 80-or-less.

Individual Notes:

Saturday's game was the 100th of senior forward Christian Coleman's NCAA career.
Freshman point guard Daniel Guetta saw his first extended action since Dec. 22 and tallied a career-high four assists in 12 minutes.
Freshman forward Benjamin Ahmed's eight rebounds and 19 minutes were also new personal-bests.
For the fifth time this season, OSU's minutes leader came from off the bench. Jaylen Curry clocked 25:17 and scored 11 of OSU's 38 bench points.
Vyctorius Miller led the scoring for the first time since Nov. 19. His 15 points were a Big 12 season-best.
Anthony Roy drained a first-half three-pointer to move into a tie for 14th on OSU's single-season chart (78) alongside Randy Rutherford (1993-94).
Roy became just the sixth Cowboy to make 50 threes in a Big 12 season joining John Lucas (2004-05), Keiton Page (2011-12), Phil Forte (2013-14 & 2016-17) and Thomas Dziagwa (2018-19).

OSU used its 17th unique starting lineup this season.
Parsa Fallah's streak of 16 consecutive starts came to an end. The senior suffered a season-ending knee injury in Tuesday's win over West Virginia.
Andrija Vukovic drew the start in Fallah's place – his third of the season and first since Dec. 22 against Cal State Fullerton.

The Cowboys continue their two-game road swing Tuesday evening in Orlando against UCF.
OSU will be looking for a series sweep after winning the Jan. 6 meeting in Stillwater. The Knights had won 11 straight coming into that game and were ranked 25th in the AP Poll.
UCF (20-7, 9-6 heading into Saturday's home game against Baylor) is heating up again. The Knights have won three straight after sweeping a two-game road swing at Utah and BYU. They led by as many as 36 points in the BYU win and knocked down 14-of-24 threes.
