Cowboy and Cowgirl Track & Field hit the road for much-anticipated Razorback and DeLoss Dodds Invitational meets

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State men's and women's indoor track & field each hit the road Friday and Saturday for one of the biggest indoor weekends of the regular season, with groups heading to both Arkansas and Kansas State.
The field groups (Multis, Jumps and Throws) head north to Kansas State for the DeLoss Dodds Invitational. Cowboy and Cowgirl multis will be competing in full Heptathlons and Pentathlons for the first time this calendar year, with each one competing currently having marks inside OSU's top 10 all-time list indoors, including school record holder Olivija Vaitaityte in the Pentathlon.
Elsewhere, Long Jump school record holder Pavana Nagaraj will be competing in the women's World Athletics Bronze section Friday night alongside some of the best jumpers in the world. NCAA Outdoor Runner-Up Blair Anderson will also be competing in the men's Long Jump invite.
At the Razorback Invitational in Arkansas, the women's Distance Medley Relay crew will be looking to earn their NCAA Indoor Championship qualifier Friday night.
Indoor Mile and 3,000 Meter school record holder Billah Jepkirui will be opening her season in the women's 3K on Saturday alongside Isca Chelangat, who placed seventh at the NCAA Cross Country Championships for the Cowgirls in November.
Earlier in the day, both senior Kaylie Politza and true freshman Elyse Wilmes will be competing in the invitational section of the women's 800 Meters against an elite field.
Historically, the Razorback Invitational is one of the best meets across the country during the indoor season, with Cowboys and Cowgirls routinely breaking school records at the meet.
The Razorback Invitational will be streamed live on SEC Network+ starting at 5:30 p.m. CT Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday.
