Â
In the second, it was the Buffaloes at the start going on a 15-4 run to start and ending with three minutes to go in the first half. The Cowgirls would get a comeback going by going on their own 11-2 run to finish the half. Akot and Timmer headed the run combining for all the points in the final two and a half minutes.  Â

The third quarter would be a back-and-forth with Colorado not losing their lead and going shot for shot with the Cowgirls. OSU would go on multiple small runs but could not cut into the Buffaloes lead. The third quarter would be capped off by a 10-2 run in favor of the Pokes.Â
