"Terran has been an instrumental piece in our success over the last few years. She has paid her dues and earned her stripes over time, particularly establishing herself as a great recruiter over the last couple of portal cycles," Hoyt said.
"Her heart for mentoring young people and her passion for the game aligns perfectly with our goals to not only win, but change lives. She is a rising star and we are fortunate to have someone with her energy, work ethic, and professionalism."
Mercer has been with the program for the last five seasons, spending four seasons as a student manager before serving as a graduate assistant last year. Mercer graduated in the spring of 2024 with a degree in sports management and a minor in marketing.
A native of Miami, Okla., Mercer is a Manager of the Year award recipient from Grow the Game, an organization which was founded in 2020 to connect former and current student managers.
"Cali has been with me since I began at Oklahoma State and it has been tremendous to watch her prove herself as a standout as a manager and a graduate assistant. She is more than ready to take the next step as our director of basketball administration," Hoyt said.
"Her organization, forward thinking and work ethic all operate at an elite level. I love her passion to serve Oklahoma State and the Cowgirls."
