Six Cowgirls Earn All-America Honors

STILLWATER —The National Collegiate Equestrian Association announced the Ariat All-America teams for the 2024-25 season Tuesday afternoon, with six different Oklahoma State riders earning seven nominations.
Riley Hogan was named second-team All-American in Fences, while being named honorable mention in Flat. June Roberson was named first-team All-American in Horsemanship, with Claire McDowall earning a spot on the second team. Abby Budd and Emma Filiatreau claimed spots on the second team in in Reining, and Quincee Clark was named All-America honorable mention in Reining.
This year's additions bring OSU's total to 82 All-Americans in program history under head coach Larry Sanchez. This is the fifth time OSU has had at least seven All-American selections, the first time since 2022-23, when the Cowgirls also had seven All-Americans.
For Hogan, this marks her third-straight season earning All-American honors, having been named honorable mention and second team in Fences the last two years. This is her first time earning the honor for Flat. Hogan went 11-3 in both events with 11 MOPs, including the Big 12 tournament MOP in Fences.
Roberson earns her first All-America recognition, on the first team in Horsemanship. The captain is 11-2-1 on the season with two MOPs. She averaged a score of 75.02 and has 26 wins in her three seasons, ending the season on a three-ride win streak.
This is the third-straight season McDowall has been named to the second team in Horsemanship. With one of the highest win totals in OSU Horsemanship history, McDowall went 8-5-1 with four MOPs. She started the year 6-2 and was named the Big 12 Rider of the Month for October.
Budd built on a successful sophomore season a year ago by picking up nine wins this year. This is the first All-America selection for Budd, going on a four-ride win streak, with three of those wins coming against ranked opponents.
Filiatreau led the Cowgirls in Reining, compiling a 10-4 record to earn her first All-America selection. She was named the NCEA Rider of the Month in November, going 4-0 in the month and scoring a career-high 74.5 at Fresno State. The sophomore is coming off two wins at the Big 12 Championship as she prepares for nationals.
Clark rounds out the selections for the Cowgirls, picking up nine wins on the season. This is the second All-America honor for Clark, earning her first in 2022-23. Clark has 31 total wins in Reining, which ties her for sixth in OSU history.
Oklahoma State is coming off winning its fifth consecutive and 11th overall Big 12 Conference Championship crown in March. The Cowgirls are set to face Texas A&M in the quarterfinal round at the NCEA National Championships in Ocala, Florida, on April 17.
