Cowgirl Tennis Seeded Third Ahead of Big 12 Championship

IRVING, Texas – Oklahoma State's women's tennis team will enter play as the No. 3 seed for its Big 12 Championship title defense this week in Waco, Texas.
This is the ninth time in the last 11 tournaments that OSU will be one of the top three seeds, and the Cowgirls will be looking for back-to-back Big 12 Tournament titles for the first time in program history. OSU finished the regular season at 18-6 overall and 12-1 in Big 12 play, tying the second-most conference wins in a season in program history.
Oklahoma State is one of four teams to earn a double bye into Friday's quarterfinals, joining Texas Tech, UCF and Baylor. The Cowgirls will open play at 10 a.m. on Friday against Arizona State, Iowa State or Colorado, depending on results from the days prior.
