Cowgirl Softball remains consensus top-15 team

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State Softball team checks in as a consensus top 15 team in both the national polls following the second weekend of competition. The Cowgirls come in at No. 14 in the NFCA/GoRout Coaches Poll and No. 13 by ESPN.com/USA Softball.

Last weekend, the Cowgirls continued their season with a 3-2 weekend at the 2025 Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational. The Pokes picked up key wins against then-No. 23 Kentucky, 6-3, then-No. 5 Texas A&M, 6-5, and then-No. 12 Alabama, 4-3, with the latter two coming in walk-off fashion.
Oklahoma State continues its season this weekend with five games in three days at the Michelle Short and Adam Brown Tournament in Conway, Ark., from February 21-23, where OSU faces off against SIUE and Central Arkansas twice in addition to one game against South Dakota State. The Pokes open play at noon CT on Feb. 21 against SIUE and fans can tune in on the Varsity Network app with Ryan Breeden on the call.
