2024-25 Review
Winning their fifth straight Big 12 Championship, the Cowgirls finished 9-6 overall and reached the quarterfinal round of the NCEA Championship. Under Western assistant coach Laura Brainard, the Cowgirl Reining squad compiled 44 wins and nine MOPs while the Horsemanship tacked on 43 wins and six MOPs. June Roberson and Claire McDowell were named All-Americans in Horsemanship while Abby Budd, Emma Filiatreau and Quincee Clark earned the honors in Reining.
Jumping Seat assistant Alle Durkin helped coach the Fences group to 33 wins and nine MOPs to go along with the Flat team who accrued 36 wins and six MOPS. Riley Hogan capped off her incredible career with two All-American selections. She was named to the second team in Fences while being an honorable mention in Flat.
Conference Leaders
The Cowgirls went 5-3 against Big 12 opponents last season, including two wins on their way to the program's first ever conference championship five-peat, something no team in the Big 12 had previously accomplished.
An Oklahoma State Win Would...
- improve its record against SMU to 14-9
- improve its home record against SMU to 8-1
- give the Cowgirls their first win of the season
Cowgirl MOPs
Emma Filiatreau was the lone Cowgirl to take home an MOP from the opening-meet at TCU, doing so in Reining
