• Oklahoma State's women's basketball team will tip off its fourth season under the direction of head coach Jacie Hoyt on Oct. 28 when it hosts Oklahoma Christian at 6:30 p.m. in exhibition action.
• Oklahoma Christian is one of eight different in-state schools the Cowgirls have hosted for exhibition play. The list of opponents includes Central Oklahoma, East Central, Northeastern State, Oklahoma Christian, Panhandle State, Southeastern Oklahoma State, Southern Nazarene and Southwestern Oklahoma State.
• This will be OSU's third consecutive and eighth overall exhibition contest played in October.
• The contest will mark OSU's lone exhibition tilt of the season. The Cowgirls last hosted Oklahoma Christian on Oct. 31, 2023, a 101-50 OSU victory.
• The contest signals the start of a six-game home stretch to open the campaign. OSU will begin its regular season on Nov. 3 against New Orleans and will navigate a stretch of five games in nine days to start the year.

• The Cowgirls' last exhibition loss came on Nov. 14, 2003 against Northwest Sports.
• Since 2002, OSU sports a 31-1 record in exhibition play.
• OSU head coach Jacie Hoyt went 4-1 in exhibition contests while leading the Kansas City program before winning her first three exhibition tilts with the Cowgirl program.
