Cowgirl Golf’s Ann Pitts to be inducted to the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame

STILLWATER - The first and winningest head coach in Oklahoma State women's golf history, Ann Pitts, will be inducted to the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame as part of its Class of 2025, the organization announced.
Pitts founded OSU's varsity golf program in 1976 and – over the next 24 years – led the Cowgirls to 15 conference titles, 15 NCAA Championship appearances, five AIAW Championship bids and a program-record 56 team wins. Along the way she provided 19 All-Americans, 15 NGCA/WGCA All-American Scholars and 60 individual medalists.
The Tulsa native and 1961 OSU graduate is already a member of the National Golf Coaches Association Hall of Fame (Class of 1995) and OSU Hall of Honor (Class of 2023). She will be formally inducted into the OSHF Hall of Fame on March 27, 2025 in Oklahoma City.
