Cowgirl Softball Ranked Unanimous Preseason Top Five Team

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State softball team is No. 4 in the NFCA/GoRout DI Top 25 Preseason Coaches Poll, it was announced today.
The No. 4 ranking from the NFCA rounds out a handful of top-five preseason honors the Cowgirls have received ahead of the 2025 season. A look at the full list of the Cowgirls preseason rankings:
The NFCA/GoRout DI Top 25 Preseason Coaches Poll is voted on by 31 NCAA Division I head coaches with one representing each of the NCAA's Division I Conferences.
Oklahoma State is one of two programs in the nation to reach each of the last five Women's College World Series and returns nearly two-thirds of the team from last year's roster. 10th-year head coach Kenny Gajewski also brought in the second-best transfer class in the nation, according to Softball America.
The Cowgirls begin their 2025 campaign against Florida State at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
