Kajuru Earns NCAA Individual Championship Bid

CARY, N.C. – Ange Oby Kajuru of the Oklahoma State women's tennis team continued her run in the singles main draw of the ITA All-American Championships in Cary, North Carolina, on Friday.
The first of her two matches on the day was a win over No. 81 Catherine Aulia of Tennessee, 7-5, 6-2, to advance to the quarterfinals while clinching her a bid in November's NCAA Individual Championships in Waco, Texas.
Later in the day, Kajuru's run came to an end in the quarterfinals as she fell to North Carolina's Tatum Evans, 6-4, 6-7 (3-7), 0-6.
The Cowgirls will next be in action beginning on Oct. 9 at the ITA Central Regional Championships in Memphis, Tennessee, where Kajuru will defend her singles title.
