Oklahoma State Cross Country Set to Host 86th Annual Cowboy Jamboree

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State men's and women's cross country kick off regular season action as they host the 86th annual Cowboy Jamboree at the state-of-the-art Greiner Family Cross Country Course Saturday.
The Cowboys enter the Jamboree ranked No. 1 in the country and own 26 victories in the meet's history, including each of the last two. Denis Kipngetich is the most recent of the 22 Cowboys to take home the individual victory with OSU sweeping each of the past two individual races (Isai Rodriguez and Taylor Roe in 2021, Alex Maier and Natalie Cook in 2022 and Kipngetich and Billah Jepkirui in 2023). All-Americans Kipngetich, Brian Musau and Victor Shitsama are all set to make their season debuts Saturday.
On the women's side, the Cowgirls enter the Jamboree ranked No. 16 in the USTFCCCA Coaches' Poll following back-to-back trophy finishes at the NCAA Championships. OSU women have won eight of the past 11 Jamboree's, including each of the last three.
The women's 6K will kick things off at 8:15 a.m. CT, with the men's 8K immediately following at 8:50 a.m. CT. The high school boy's and girl's 5K will take place at 9:30 and 10:15 a.m., respectively. Live results for the Jamboree can be found here.
Parking for the meet will take place at O'Brate Stadium, with shuttles to the course every 20 minutes starting at 7:30 a.m., with admission being free for attendance.
