Cowgirls Post Undefeated Day in North Carolina

CARY, N.C. – Members of Oklahoma State's women's tennis team collected wins in the singles and doubles qualifying draws at the ITA All-American Championships in Cary, North Carolina, on Monday.

After advancing through the pre-qualifying singles draw, Gracie Epps began play in the qualifying draw with a close win over Duke's Irina Balus, 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7-3).

In doubles, the 43^rd-ranked pairing of Epps and Marcela Lopez outlasted the No. 47 duo of Tomi Main and Yu-Chin Tsai in a super breaker, 1-6, 6-3, [10-2].

Play will continue tomorrow in the second round of the qualifying draws, with Epps set to meet No. 62 Elza Tomase from Tennessee, while she and Lopez will play the winner of No. 36 Emma Charney and Imogen Haddad from USC and Barbora Pokorna and Tereza Dejnozkova from Iowa. Match times are still to be determined.
