STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has added a three-time all-conference goalkeeper for the upcoming season in transfer Jaidy Gutierrez Campos.
Gutierrez Campos spent the last three seasons starring for South Alabama, where she was an All-Sunbelt Second Team selection each year.
A native of Mexico City, Mexico, Gutierrez Campos started 50 matches in the net for the Jaguars and recorded 28 shutouts and 126 saves in nearly 4,700 minutes.
"Jaidy is a talented goalkeeper who brings a wealth of experience to our group, and we are very excited to welcome her to Stillwater," said OSU head coach Colin Carmichael. "Jaidy is a terrific shot stopper who is also very comfortable with the ball at her feet. She has excelled no only at the Division I level with South Alabama, but also at the international level with Mexico's youth national teams.
"Jaidy will be an excellent addition to our team, and we cannot wait to begin working with her this fall."
As a junior last season, Gutierrez Campos posted 10 clean sheets and a school-record 0.46 goals against average as she allowed only eight goals in 18 matches and did not give up multiple goals in any game. Her efforts helped lead USA to the first undefeated regular season in program history and a Sun Belt regular season championship.
In 2022, Gutierrez Campos started all 20 matches, and her 12 shutouts led the Sun Belt and ranked fifth nationally. She picked up 45 saves and a 0.59 GAA as she played every minute in goal for the Jaguars.
In Gutierrez Campos' first collegiate season, she started 13 games and collected six shutouts and 44 saves.
Gutierrez Campos competed for the Mexico National Team from U-17 through U-20 and also spent four club seasons (2017-20) with Club America, with the team never finishing lower than the semifinals and winning a championship in 2018.
