Hinson-Tolchard Notches All-Big 12 Team Honors

STILLWATER – Maddison Hinson-Tolchard added to her list of accolades on Friday by being named to the All-Big 12 First Team, the Big 12 Conference announced.
Following back-to-back Big 12 Player of the Year honors in 2022 and 2023, Hinson-Tolchard collected hardware this season after posting the program's sixth-lowest scoring average in program history at 71.47 while adding 18 par-or-better rounds and three top 10 finishes – a trio of efforts punctuated by a third-place solo finish at the NCAA East Lansing Regional.
Earning her third straight All-Big 12 First Team selection, Hinson-Tolchard becomes one of four Cowgirls to notch the accolade three times in their Cowgirl career, joining Linnea Johansson (2015-17), Maddie McCrary (2015-17) and Emma Bronze (2015, 2017-18) with Maria Bodén (1998-2001) and Pernilla Lindberg (2006-09) capturing the honor in all four years in Stillwater.
The senior from Perth, Australia, also rose up the program's record books this year, mounting a program-best 72 par-or-better rounds while finishing second in career birdies (381) and third in career scoring average (71.60). In the fall, she also tied the program's lowest 18-hole score, carding a 6-under 64 at the Schooner Fall Classic.
Hinson-Tolchard, who declared professional status this month, is slated to debut on the Epson Tour on June 7 at the Firekeepers Casino Hotel Championship in Battle Creek, Michigan.
