Cowgirl Golf Concludes Second Round of NCAA Championships

CARLSBAD, Calif. – Oklahoma State women's golf concluded the second round of the NCAA Championships in 25th place on Saturday at La Costa Champions Course.
The Cowgirls carded a 313 to open the weekend and will take to the tee on Sunday with Tulsa and North Carolina. Texas A&M leads the individual leaderboard at 11-under 565, while Stanford stands five shots back of the Aggies. Adela Cernousek leads the individual leaderboard after two rounds at 8-under.
After 54 holes, the top 15 teams along with the top nine individuals not on an advancing team will compete for one additional day of stroke play on Monday to determine the top eight teams for match play competition and the 72-hole individual champion. The top eight teams will then compete in match play on Tuesday and Wednesday, with the team national championship to be decided on May 22.
Marta Silchenko, Thitaporn Saithip and Angelica Pffererkorn each signed a 78 on the day, with Silchenko posting an even back nine.
Ellie Bushnell carded a 79 on Saturday, adding birdies on holes No. 6, 13 and 17.
Maddison Hinson-Tolchard posted a round-two tally of 82.
Oklahoma State returns to the course tomorrow at 3:17 p.m. CT alongside Tulsa and North Carolina.
