Kilfoyl Named USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Top 10 Finalist

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State's Lexi Kilfoyl has been named as one of 10 finalists for the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award, it was announced today.
The Big 12 leader in ERA (1.13), wins (21) and shutouts (six), Kilfoyl was named the conference Pitcher of the Year in addition to picking up first-team All-Big 12 honors. Of her six shutouts, four were against ranked opponents, highlighted by a pair of complete game shutouts against then-No. 2 Texas, then the No. 2 offense in the nation. Her 119 strikeouts on the year is good for second in the conference.
Kilfoyl is the fourth Cowgirl in program history to be named a Top 10 finalist for the award.
Kilfoyl and the Cowgirls open their NCAA Postseason journey with the 2024 Stillwater Regional, with play set to begin Friday, May 17 at 4:30 p.m. against Northern Colorado. Fans can watch the contest on ESPN+ with Beth Mowins, Michele Smith and Jess Mendoza on the call.
