Cowgirl Softball Rises Among Top-10 in National Rankings

STILLWATER - The Oklahoma State softball team climbed in the top-10 following the fourth week of Big 12 play. The Cowgirls are ranked No. 6 by ESPN.com/USA Softball and No. 7 in the USA Today/NFCA Coaches Poll. OSU also comes in at No. 10 in the NCAA RPI rankings based on its wins, losses and strength of schedule.

The Cowgirls grabbed a midweek win over Missouri State, 9-3, before taking the top-10 series matchup against then-No. 2 Texas, 2-1, this past weekend in Stillwater off the back of two Lexi Kilfoyl complete-game shutouts.

Oklahoma State hits the road this the road this week as they travel to Denton, Texas, to take on North Texas Wednesday at 6 p.m., before heading to Houston for a three-game set from April 5-7 against the Cougars at Cougar Stadium.
