Cowgirl Equestrian Seeded Sixth Ahead of NCEA Nationals
April 02, 2024 | Cowgirl Equestrian
STILLWATER, Okla. – The National Collegiate Equestrian Association released the seeding for the 2024 NCEA National Championship Tuesday evening, with Oklahoma State claiming the No. 6 spot.
This year's national tournament will take place April 18-20 in Ocala, Florida, at the World Equestrian Center.
Two years removed from its first overall NCEA national title in 2022, OSU is facing third-seeded Auburn in the quarterfinals of the eight-team tournament. It's a rematch from last season's semifinals round, where the Cowgirls fell to the Tigers, 14-6.
The Cowgirls are 8-6 after a rejuvenating spring campaign, where the Cowgirls went 4-1 to close the regular season. OSU's momentum continued as it took home its 10th conference title, the most out of any team in Big 12 equestrian history.
TCU is the other Big 12 team to make an appearance in the national bracket, who checks in as the top seed.
