Cowgirls First in ITA Rankings for Fifth Consecutive Week

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State's women's tennis team remained No. 1 in Tuesday's ITA Division I team rankings, marking the Cowgirls' fifth consecutive week atop the list.
OSU is now 15-0 on the season and 4-0 in conference play, coming off road wins over No. 24 Texas Tech and No. 37 BYU last weekend. The win over the Red Raiders marked the Cowgirls' ninth against a top-25 opponent this year.
Going by the latest rankings, Oklahoma State has wins this season over No. 2 Michigan (twice), No. 3 Stanford, No. 4 Pepperdine, No. 7 Texas, No. 11 Ohio State, No. 13 Auburn and No. 18 UCLA.
Along with OSU, nine other Big 12 teams appeared in the top-75: No. 7 Texas, No. 21 Oklahoma, No. 26 Baylor, No. 27 Texas Tech, No. 35 BYU, No. 57 UCF, No. 58 Kansas, No. 65 TCU and No. 68 West Virginia.
The Cowgirls return home this weekend for matches against No. 65 TCU and No. 26 Baylor, taking on the Horned Frogs on Friday at 6 p.m. and the Bears on Sunday at 1 p.m.
