Bedlam Cup To Return For Sixth Edition, First Time Since 2017

STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State women's golf will compete against Oklahoma in the sixth edition of the Bedlam Cup on March 22 at Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club, as announced Friday.

The Cowgirls and Sooners will face off in the Bedlam Cup, a match-play competition between the two programs, for the first time since April 2017 and the fourth time in Norman. The event is free to the public.

The event format kicks off at 8 a.m. CT with three four-ball (best ball) matches, followed by six singles matches starting at 1:30 p.m. Each four-ball (best ball) and singles match will award a team point in the format, leaving nine team points up for grabs during the competition.

OSU leads the Bedlam Cup series, 3-2, with former Cowgirls Kelsey Vines, Julie Yang, Maddie McCrary and Linnea Johansson, among others, battling at the event before later going on tour.

The Cowgirls are 3-1 against the Sooners in tournaments this season and finished first of four Big 12 teams at the Puerto Rico Classic to open the spring. The Sooners tee off their spring slate at the Spartan Sun Coast Invitational on Feb. 18.
