Cowgirls Ready for Action at Chevron Collegiate

HUMBLE, Texas – Following a strong performance to tee off the spring, Oklahoma State women's golf returns to action on Monday at the Chevron Collegiate at the Golf Club of Houston.
The Cowgirls return to Humble, Texas, for its fourth-straight season to take on the par-72, 6,392-yard course on Feb. 26-27.
The Chevron Collegiate opens with shotgun starts at 8 a.m. CT on Monday and Tuesday, with 36 holes played on Monday and the final 18 on Tuesday.

Instant Impact
Freshman duo Marta Silchenko and Ellie Bushnell have made their mark early and often with the Cowgirls.
After winning team qualifiers to close the fall, Silchenko shined to open the spring season at the Puerto Rico Classic. In action, she closed the opening two rounds in third place with rounds of 68 and 72, briefly stood as the individual leader in Round 2 and finished play tied for 16th with 12 birdies – good for second-most in the field.
Bushnell carried her consistent ways into Puerto Rico, carding an even 216 to finish tied for 23rd. After posting a 7-over 223 in her collegiate debut, Bushnell has carded par-or-better finishes in all four tournaments since.
With Silchenko and Bushnell posting seven and six par-or-better rounds this season, they both rank in the program's top five in freshman scoring average (min. 15 rounds).

Monitoring Maddy: A Spring To Remember
With 103 career rounds under her belt, Maddison Hinson-Tolchard is reaching for the record books in her senior season.
Hinson-Tolchard enters Humble as the program record holder in par-or-better rounds with 62 while being on pace for the program's lowest single-season scoring average at 70.33.
The back-to-back Big 12 Player of the Year is also in contention to break Pernilla Lindberg's program record of 397 career birdies this season as she enters the Golf Club of Houston with 329 – 12 away from tying Lianna Bailey for fourth in the category.
History in Humble
The Cowgirls have held a steady track record in Humble, Texas, competing in the city in each spring season since 2020-21
In the program's three-year history in Humble, the Cowgirls wrangled up third-place finishes in 2020-21 and 2021-22 and most recently finished fourth last year at the Golf Club of Houston.
Oklahoma State has fielded a top-10 individual in each appearance at the event, previously known as the ICON Invitational, with Rina Tatematsu carding her first-career win with a 14-under 202 as a freshman in 2020-21.
