Cowgirl Softball Holds in National Polls

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State Softball remained in the top 10 in both national polls after its first weekend in Florida. The Cowgirls are ranked No. 8 by ESPN.com/USA Softball and No. 7 by the USA Today/NFCA Coaches Poll.

- No. 11 in the Softball America College Top 25
- No. 8 in the D1Softball Top 25
- No. 8 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25
- No. 7 in the USA Today/NFCA DI Top 25 Coaches Poll
The Pokes went 1-2 in the Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational with a win over Wisconsin and two close losses against then-No. 4/4 Georgia and then-No. 12/12 LSU. The remainder of the weekend was canceled due to rain.
OSU remains in Florida for a matchup against Stetson on Wednesday before traveling to Tampa for the South Florida Showdown this weekend, highlighted by a top-10 showdown against No. 4/4 Washington Thursday at 12:30 p.m. CT.
