OSU Indoor Track & Field Travels to Manhattan for DeLoss Dodds Invitational
February 01, 2024 | Cowboy Cross Country & Track
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State men's and women's indoor track & field head north for the first time to compete at the DeLoss Dodds Invitational this weekend in Manhattan, Kan.
Indoor 600 Meter school record holder DJ McArthur will be looking to claim his second record of the season as he moves to the 600 Yards this weekend. The current record was set by James Kurrasch all the way back in 1972 and remains the oldest-standing indoor record in program history.
Former 800 Meter school record holder Hafez Mahadi will be making his season debut this weekend in the event following his overall opener in the 1K at the Arkansas Invitational. Mahadi was also a member of OSU's collegiate record Distance Medley Relay last season as the 800-Meter leg.
On the women's side, the 600 Yard school record is also in danger as Tamara Woodley sits just .10 off the current record set in 1985 by Leisa Davis-Knowles. Woodley, Isis Grant, Jinah Mickens-Malik and Ansley Scott will all be contesting the event Friday night.
Live results for the meet can be found here.
