• Oklahoma State's women's basketball team will tip off Big 12 play on Saturday when Iowa State comes calling for a 4 p.m. contest inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
• OSU is 33-8 at home under head coach Jacie Hoyt.
• Hoyt and her husband, Daniel, welcomed their first child on Dec. 11, Harlow Renee Heflin.
• The contest will be OSU's earliest conference game since a Dec. 15 game at Oklahoma and a Dec 18 tilt against West Virginia in 2020.
• The Cowgirls will be looking for their first league-opening win under Hoyt. OSU fell to Kansas two years ago and Iowa State last year to open Big 12 play.

• Gray's output marked the most by a Cowgirl since Andrea Riley's 37-point outing against Kansas in 2010.
• With Gray reaching the plateau, it marks the first time in program history OSU has had three different 30-point scorers in the same season.
• OSU has nine 30-point quarters offensively and has held its opposition to 11 single-digit scoring quarters.
• The Cowgirls shot better than 50 percent in two quarters against McNeese and have now hit at least half of their shots in 28 of 44 quarters this season.

• The series is knotted at 38 apiece after the Cyclones swept both meetings last year.
