Epps Earns NCAA Individual Championship Bid

ROME, Ga. – With a win in Friday's quarterfinals, Gracie Epps of the Oklahoma State women's tennis team earned a spot in the NCAA Individual Championships, set to be played in Waco, Texas, later this month.
Epps defeated Richmond's Sofia Maria Barbulescu in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2, to advance to the semifinals of the ITA Conference Masters in Rome, Georgia. She'll continue her run through the singles draw with a match against No. 31 Oyinlomo Quadre of Florida International on Saturday.
Epps will join Ange Oby Kajuru and Anastasiya Komar as Cowgirls who will appear in the NCAA Individual Championships, with Kajuru and Komar set to compete in both the singles and doubles draws.
The ITA Conference Masters field consists of 32 singles players and 32 doubles pairings, with each NCAA Division I, automatic qualifier-eligible conference designating one player and one doubles team to represent it. The four singles semifinalists and top three finishers in the doubles draw earn automatic bids into the NCAA Individual Championships.
