Cowgirl Softball Moves Alumni Weekend to March

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State Softball has changed the date for its alumni weekend to March 21-23, 2025, head coach Kenny Gajewski announced today. The event was originally scheduled for the weekend of April 11-13.
The move comes as a result of The Boys from Oklahoma concert in Boone Pickens Stadium that is now scheduled for April 10-13. With unprecedented crowds and visitors expected in Stillwater, it was determined that it would be best to pivot to another date so that alumni are comfortably accommodated in Stillwater.
The Cowgirls will spend the weekend celebrating the inaugural Cowgirl Softball team of 1975, all of whom are invited to the event as the special guests of honor.
"We hate to have to move this special weekend, but we feel like this will be better and more comfortable for all parties involved," Gajewski said. "We want to take the time to honor the inaugural team of 1975 in the right way, and we felt like shifting this celebration to March would do just that."
More details regarding the honorary weekend will be released at a later time.
