About Oklahoma State

Scouting The Opponents
    • Iowa State is 3-7-5 overall and 1-3-3 in the Big 12. The Cyclones are 1-3-2 in road matches this season.    • OSU is 15-10-2 all time against ISU and has won the last four meetings, including a 4-1 victory in Ames last season.
    • UCF is 3-4-5 overall and 1-3-3 in league play and will host TCU on Thursday. The Knights have not lost on their home field this season (2-0-2).
    • OSU is 1-2-0 all time against UCF, with the win coming last season in Stillwater by a 2-1 margin.

Last Week
    OSU posted a 3-0 win over Houston on Thursday before beating Cincinnati, 1-0, on Sunday. Against UH, the Cowgirls got goals from Alex Morris, Gracie Bindbeutel and Xcaret, all coming in the first half, and Grace Gordon recorded the shutout with five saves. Alex Morris scored the lone goal in the match against the Bearcats in the 27th minute.Â
In The Rankings
    After appearing in the national rankings for six consecutive weeks, the Cowgirls dropped out of the polls on Sept. 30/Oct. 1. The Cowgirls climbed as high as No. 11 in the Aug. 27th United Soccer Coaches poll, their highest ranking since they were No. 11 in both the United Soccer Coaches and TopDrawerSoccer.com polls on Nov. 17, 2020.    OSU entered the national rankings on Aug. 19/20 for the first time since Aug. 30, 2021, when the Cowgirls were 22nd in the TDS poll.
    In this week's United Soccer Coaches Midwest Region Rankings, OSU moved up two spots to No. 3. The Cowgirls are also No. 32 in the official NCAA RPI; Iowa State is No. 215 and UCF is 125th.

A Lot Of Nothing
    OSU recorded shutouts in its first nine games and was not scored on for 8:46:10, marking the longest consecutive streaks by a team to start the 2024 season. Auburn recorded eight-straight shutouts and did not concede a goal over the first 741 minutes of its season.Â
Clean Sheets
    OSU's nine consecutive shutouts stands as the longest streak in program history. In 2011, the Cowgirls had shutout streaks of six and five matches, which marked the previous best streaks.    • The streak of nine-straight shutouts is tied for the second longest in Big 12 Conference history. West Virginia owns the record with 10 in a row in 2016, while WVU (2015) and Nebraska (1997) also had streaks of nine consecutive clean sheets.
    • The Cowgirls' previous best shutout streak to begin a season was three games in 2005.
    • OSU's 13 shutouts in 2024 is the third most in a season in program history. The Cowgirls posted a record 18 clean sheets in 2011 and had 14 in 2009.
    • Grace Gordon's 10 shutouts rank second nationally this season and are the third most in a season in program history. AD Franch has the top two season shutout totals, recording 12 in 2011 and 11 in 2009.

Sharing the Wealth
    OSU's 34 goals this season have been scored by 12 different players. Logan Heausler leads the Cowgirls with six goals, while Xcaret Pineda and Nicole Ray have five.    Sixteen Cowgirls have also recorded assists on the year. Laudan Wilson is tied for the Big 12 lead with eight assists, and Alex Morris has five.

Climbing
    Grace Gordon ranks fourth on OSU's career shutouts list with 16 in just 35 games in a Cowgirl uniform; she needs two more to move into third (AD Franch owns the record with 38 from 2009-12). Gordon has 25 clean sheets in her collegiate career after recording nine in three seasons at Seton Hall.    Gordon's 117 saves in an OSU uniform ranks seventh in program history, and she is currently first in career goals against average at 0.63.

Last Year Best Year
    Alex Morris is saving her best for last.    The Cowgirls' fifth-year senior wingback has scored in each of OSU's last two matches, with both goals credited as game winners, and has a career-high three goals on the year after entering the season with two career goals in 66 games.
    Morris, who also ranks second on the squad with five assists after posting a career-best six last season, is No. 93 on the TopDrawerSoccer.com Midseason Women's Top 100 recognizing the top upperclassmen in college soccer.

    Laudan Wilson has eight assists on the season, which is tied for the Big 12 lead and ranks seventh nationally. It's the most assists in a season by a Cowgirl since Jaci Jones had 12 in 2019.Â
Home Sweet Home
    OSU has won 77 percent of its games in four seasons at Neal Patterson Stadium, which opened in 2019. The Cowgirls are 49-12-6 (.776) on their current home turf, including a 6-2-1 mark season.    OSU has gone undefeated at home in seven seasons in its history, the last time coming in 2019.
