Komar Advances to Semifinals in Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Anastasiya Komar of the Oklahoma State women's tennis team advanced to the semifinals of the ITA Central Regional Championships in Memphis, Tennessee, on Saturday.
Entering as the two seed and ranked No. 11 nationally, Komar defeated No. 100 Emma Staker from Oklahoma, 6-1, 6-1, to reach the final four. She will face another Sooner in Sunday's semifinals in No. 56 Alina Shcherbinina at 12 p.m.
Ange Oby Kajuru was also slated to compete in Friday's singles quarterfinals but withdrew due to injury.
