Debrecen, Hungary – Oklahoma State freshman Eric Dailey Jr. scored eight of his 10 points in the fourth quarter to help the United States pull away from China, 92-69, Wednesday in a FIBA U19 World Cup Round of 16 matchup.
The U.S. (4-0) squandered an 18-point advantage but quickly rebuilt it. After China (0-4) rallied to take a 59-58 lead near the 2:00-mark of the third quarter, the Americans reeled off the next 19 points.
Dailey – a 6-foot-8 forward from Bradenton, Fla. -- has reached double-figures in all four tournament games. In addition to his 10 points on 4-of-9 shooting, he also collected six rebounds, two assists, a block and a steal in Wednesday's win.
Team USA will face either host Hungary or Japan in Friday's quarterfinal round (time TBA).
