Three Cowgirls Pick Up All-Big 12 Honors

STILLWATER – Three players on Oklahoma State's women's tennis team received Big 12 All-Conference honors, the conference announced Friday.
OSU veteran Ayumi Miyamoto and freshman phenoms, Raquel Gonzalez and Lucia Peyre, each earned multiple recognitions for their successful season.
Miyamoto and Gonzalez earned their spot as the court one doubles champions finishing with six wins in conference play. The pair served as OSU's court one tandem for most of the year where they garnered a 13-2 record.
With Miyamoto and Gonzalaz' status as doubles champions, they also bring home First Team All-Big 12 honors. Miyamoto earns her second All-Big 12 recognition in doubles play while Gonzalez claims her first.
In singles play, Peyre was named to the All-Big 12 First Team in her first season as a Cowgirl. Likewise, Peyre is recognized as a member of the All-Freshman team. Peyre went 11-5 overall, including a 7-4 record in Big 12 play.
Additionally, Miyamoto becomes an All-Big 12 Second Team member for the first time in her career with a 16-2 record and an undefeated six wins in conference play.
OSU will learn its draw in the upcoming 2023 NCAA Championship during the Division I selection show on Monday, May 1.
